Lat Am FIG trio line up as bank paper excites buyers

Bond buyers and bankers said that a relatively quiet year for financial institution issuance in Latin America should ensure a warm reception to three banks from the region which are lining up bond deals.

This lack of new issuance — partly a result of domestic bond markets becoming attractive for issuers, and partly as growth across the region continues to disappoint — has driven scarcity value. And BTG Pactual, mid-sized lender Banco Daycoval, and Bancolombia could all take advantage.
