GlobalCapital China is pleased to invite you to participate in the GlobalCapital China Capital Market Awards 2019. Inaugurated last year under the GlobalRMB banner, the awards celebrate the accomplishments of the leading players in the renminbi debt capital markets, onshore and offshore, as well as key service providers.

These awards represent the culmination of GlobalCapital and GlobalRMB’s coverage of mainland China’s rapidly developing capital markets, recognising the best deals, banks, issuers, law firms and innovations, as well as identifying the individual who has made the biggest contribution to the development of the marker over the last 12 months.

We will decide awards in the following categories:

DCM:
Best Panda bond house

Best G3 bond house for Chinese issuers

Best bank for ABS

Issuers*:
Most impressive FIG issuer

Most impressive corporate issuer

Most impressive SSA issuer

Service providers:
Best bank for securities services

Best law firm

Special awards**:

Most impressive market innovation

Person of the year

Note:

* The issuer awards will largely focus on China’s onshore market, considering both foreign and domestic issuers. But deals from Chinese issuers in the offshore markets, including dollars, euros and dim sum, will also be recognised.

** The two special awards will not be pitched. They will be decided entirely by our editorial committee.

Each firm, in its own words, can tell us the story of its achievements, innovations and performance over the past 12 months, backed up where relevant by supporting data.

Each firm must submit a written application for each award category that draws our attention to some of the highlights of your performance under consideration in that area. You can make just one submission per category.

All submissions must be no longer than four sides of A4 paper, either in PDF or Word formats. It should also include the name, title and contact details of individuals within the bank who can respond to requests for further details from the editorial committee.

Once submissions are received, our team of editors and journalists will then shortlist candidates in each category before arranging pitch meetings between mid-November and end of November. After that, our team will analyse these in conjunction with our own market knowledge and research before decisions are made by the editorial committee.

You have until November 8 to make your submissions. The awards period runs from November 16 2018 to November 15 2019. We will accept supplementary written pitches for deals that are priced after the banks submit their pitches and which fall in the awards period. We may then follow up with a further discussion.

The winners will be announced on the GlobalCapital website in December, and will also be published in the 2020 Outlook report early next year.
