Fitch downgrades Saudi Arabia following oil attack

Fitch lowered Saudi Arabia’s credit rating on Monday, following the September 14 attack on Saudi Aramco’s oil infrastructure.

Fitch downgraded Saudi Arabia from A+ to A on Monday. The move comes just after Standard & Poor’s affirmed its Saudi Arabia rating and kept the outlook stable.

However, Fitch’s rating is still one notch above that offered by S&P’s rating of A-.
