Continental considers full spin-off of powertrain business

Continental, the German car parts company, is still committed to its plan to spin off its powertrain division, despite postponing the IPO earlier this year due to volatility caused by the escalating trade war between the US and China.

The company said in a statement on Monday that its board was reviewing the plan to spin-off and list the division. As part of the review, Continental is considering a full spin-off alongside the existing plan to partially float the division on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
