Telecom returns but investors wary on Arg

Argentina’s leading telecoms company became the latest borrower from the country to tap international investors on Thursday, but though bond investors showed plenty of enthusiasm for Telecom Argentina’s bond comeback, some were wary about oversupply from the country.

Investors said that New York syndicates have been gauging the scale of appetite for further Argentine supply, as lower US rates and growing optimism that Mauricio Macri can win a second presidential term have opened a window for the country’s issuers.
