Peru waits, Millicom defies volatility as investors embrace concessions

Thursday’s activity in Latin America bonds showed that issuer expectations, as much as investor appetite, could define how the year ends, with one borrower standing down and another pushing through volatility.

Peru and cable and mobile company Millicom both wrapped up roadshows on Wednesday ahead of proposed new deals, with the South American sovereign weighing up a dual-tranche dollar and nuevo sol deal and Millicom after $500m of eight year non-call three notes.
