Barclays Capital's head of its inflation-linked business has moved internally to the rates sales desk. John Roberts, managing director, is now a rates salesman and reports to Tim Cassidy, head of U.S. rates sales, according to Roberts. He was formerly head of the inflation-linked business, which includes TIPS and inflation-linked derivatives. He reported to Harry Harrison, global head of U.S. rates products. "I'm excited about the challenges of helping build out the franchise," Roberts said. Harrison and Cassidy did not return calls by press time.
