Barclays Capital is aiming to expand its fund derivatives business in the U.S. and is likely to boost its structuring group in the coming weeks.
The bank covers Europe, the U.S. and Asia from its London headquarters, but market officials said it is planning to hire staffers dedicated to the U.S. market. Antti Suhonen, head of the 12-strong structuring group in London, declined comment. Kerry Goodwin, spokeswoman, did not return calls.
