Wachovia Bank has hired a trio of fixed income professionals as part of its push into the region. Sean Kwon, director in global markets at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong, Catherine Lam, fixed income marketer at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong, and William Fung, marketer at TD Securities in Sydney, have joined in fixed income derivatives sales roles in recent weeks.
The firm kick-started its Asia expansion earlier this summer when it hired Greg Donohugh senior v.p. at Lehman Brothers, to spearhead the revamp in fixed income and credit derivatives in Hong Kong (DW, 6/27). Donohugh declined all comment.
