ISDA plans to publish a credit event guide targeted at end users of credit derivatives. The guide will not be substantive or interpretative in nature, stressed Kimberly Summe, ISDA's general counsel in New York. Instead, it will relate the mechanics of what steps to take in the case of a credit event.
