Lehman Brothers' Fumio Nashiro, managing director in equity product sales in Tokyo, has just left the firm, according to market officials. Nashiro, a veteran marketer in Japan, reached on his mobile phone, declined comment and Yoko Kato, spokeswoman for Lehman, did not respond to messages by press time. Prior to joining Lehman last year, he was the head of distribution for Bear Stearns in Tokyo (DW, 9/3) and also had a stint at Bank of America (DW, 3/9/02). The reason for his departure could not be determined by press time.
