LSE finalises high growth segment plans

The London Stock Exchange opened a new High Growth Segment this week which it hopes will encourage private equity and venture capital-owned mid-cap firms to take the first step to the public market. The final rule book made no substantive changes from a draft published in February even though the plans then left some bankers puzzled by the restrictive criteria.
