UBS Warburg Snags Senior Trader From Merrill

BondWeek is the leading news publication for fixed-income professionals, covering new deals, structures, asset-backed securities, industry and market activity.

UBS Warburg has hired Bob Crocco to the position of director and credit derivatives trader based in Stamford, Conn. He starts this week, reporting to Mark Davis, head of U.S. credit derivatives trading. Calls to UBS officials were referred to Kris Kagel, a firm spokesman, who declined comment on whether Crocco is filling a new position on the desk.

Crocco joins from Merrill Lynch, where he spent the last 10 years. His most recent position was as a director and high-yield trader. Eric Dobbin, head high-yield trader at Merrill, declined comment about a possible replacement. Prior to joining Merrill's high-yield desk in New York, Crocco was based in London, where he was head of structured credit trading.
