Joe Labriola has left BNP Paribas, where he was head of investment-grade research, to join Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. At KBW, Labriola will work in fixed-income sales and report to James Cahill and Kevin Meenan, co-heads of fixed-income sales at KBW. Cahill says the firm is excited to have Labriola, who will also contribute to the research side. Labriola, who has spent more than 20 years on the research side, says he was looking for a change and is happy to move to the sales side.
Mark Wisniewski, a spokesman for Paribas, confirmed Labriola has left the firm but declined to provide more information.
