Michael Belbeck, senior salesperson to hedge funds at Commerzbank Securities in New York, is joining Bear Stearns in a similar role. Edgar Mitchell, spokesman at Commerzbank in New York, confirmed Belbeck's departure. At Commerzbank, he reported to Sam Gottesman and Kumar Doraiswami, co-heads of fixed income sales, who did not return calls.
