JPMorgan has hired Valerie Rademacher, executive director in foreign exchange sales to German corporates at Goldman Sachs in London, to head fx sales to German corporates, and Kris Sjoberg, an official at Citigroup, as head of fx sales to Scandinavian corporates. Both Rademacher and Sjoberg report to Eric Robin, co-head of fx sales to Europe.
Rademacher replaces Andrea Mohr, who left JPMorgan in March to join over-the-counter derivatives trading platform 360 Treasury Systems in Frankfurt (DW, 3/17). Sjoberg will start in about a month. Robin said the firm already has two professionals covering this market but has added Sjoberg to remain competitive with other derivatives houses since most of them have at least three sales staff covering Scandinavian corporates.
At Goldman, Rademacher reported to Zar Amrolia, co-head of Goldman's corporate derivatives marketing group in London, according to Rademacher. Amrolia left Goldman in March (DW, 3/6). Jeremy Hughes, spokesman at Citigroup in London, did not return calls.
