Barclays Capital has hired Doug Warren, managing director and a senior figure in the North America credit derivatives team at Citigroup in New York. Warren has taken seven of his team with him, say market officials. Officials at Citi declined comment. A Barclays official confirmed the hires, but declined to give further details.
