Eric Lepage, a credit derivatives trader at BNP Paribas in London, has joined Calyon as head of structured credit trading and quantitative research. Lepage, reached at Calyon, said he moved for fresh challenges. He reports to Loic Fery, managing director and global head of structured credit and CDOs, who confirmed the hire.
Lepage left BNP Paribas after almost five years at the firm where he reported to Farid Amellal, global head of credit trading and derivatives in London, who did not return calls. Ruth Lavelle, spokeswoman for BNP Paribas, confirmed the departure, declining to comment on who had replaced Lepage.
