S&P Analyst Jumps To Sell-Side

Michael Drexler, an analyst in the collateralized debt obligation group with Standard & Poor's in New York, will be joining ABN AMRO as v.p. next month.

Michael Drexler, an analyst in the collateralized debt obligation group with Standard & Poor's in New York, will be joining ABN AMRO as v.p. next month. Drexler said he will structure and market credit products and report to Larry Fagan, a director in structured credit. Fagan was traveling last week and did not respond to an e-mail sent to hisBloomberg address.

At S&P, Drexler reported to Andrea Bryan, a managing director in the structured finance CDO group in New York, who declined comment on whether Drexler would be replaced. But an official there noted the agency is in the process of interviewing new analysts to join the team, some of whom share Drexler's expertise in synthetic products.
