WestPac Banking Corp. has brought aboard Aussie credit market veteran Pierre Katerdjian, senior credit marketer who recently left BNP Paribas in Sydney (DW, 6/17), in a new role as a credit portfolio manager in Sydney, handling the bank's internal credit exposure. Katerdjian, also previously a credit trader at Deutsche Bank and a former credit derivatives committee chairman for the Australian Financial Markets Association, said he now reports to Sean Carmody, head of credit portfolio management, declining further comment. Carmody did not respond to messages by press time.
