Donald Leitch, head of fund-linked derivatives at Merrill Lynch in London, is set for a return to Commerzbank Corporates & Markets. Leitch, who could not be reached for comment, joined the U.S. firm last May (DW, 5/29) after a previous stint at the German house. Margarita Thiel, spokeswoman for Commerz in London, confirmed he will rejoin as head of equity derivatives structuring, reporting to Peter Corner, global head of structuring.
Merrill has replaced Leitch with a hire from Rabobank. Frederick Marino joins as a director and head of fund-linked products, reporting to Alvise Munari, European head of equity structured products. Alex Simmons, spokesman for Merrill, confirmed the appointment.
