Bear Stearns has hired Steffen Klein, European head of institutional equity derivative sales at Citigroup, who left that firm in February (DW 2/25). As first reported on DW's Web site, Klein is expected to take up a similar role at Bear Stearns but he could not be reached and it could not be determined who he will report to. Guy Cross, spokesman for Bear Stearns in London, said the firm does not comment on staffers until they have started.
