Deutsche Bank Bolsters City Sales To U.S.

Deutsche Bank has hired two salesmen for its City desk to cover European equity derivative sales to the U.S.

Deutsche Bank has hired two salesmen for its City desk to cover European equity derivative sales to the U.S. Brian Brophy and Matthew Shelton join from BNP Paribas and will market to U.S. hedge funds and financial institutions. They will report to Tim Hart, head of equity derivative sales for Europe. Hart said the hires are both an expansion of the team and because Charles Donley, equity derivative salesman in London, is set to transfer to Hong Kong to cover Asian equity derivative sales.

Ruth Lavelle, spokeswoman for BNP Paribas, did not comment by press time on replacements for Brophy and Shelton.
