James McNabb, global head of hybrid trading at ABN AMRO in London, is relocating to Sydney to head the firm's new hybrid capital trading business in Australia. McNabb, who is originally from Australia, said the desk has been set up because there are opportunities for new product growth in the region. He declined to detail what the new group's activities will be, or how many staff it will comprise. McNabb will report to Col McKeith, Australian head of financial markets, who could not be reached for comment. In London, McNabb reports to Jasper Van Wel, head of ABN's structured product group, who confirmed the move. Van Wel declined to name who will replace McNabb, but said it will be an internal hire.
