Credit Suisse First Boston has added two equity derivatives directors for Southeast in Singapore. Desmond Koh, marketer at Barclays Capital in Singapore, has joined as a director in the equity derivatives group focusing on structured equity and fund-linked products and Yan Zhan Lee, marketer at Citigroup in Singapore, has joined as a director to cover structured equity for the ASEAN markets.
Kurt Ersoy, managing director and head of equity derivative sales in Hong Kong, whom the duo now report to, said that previously Southeast Asia was covered out of Hong Kong but with equity markets continuing to grow the firm needed boots closer to the ground.
