Morgan Stanley has hired Rob Mason, a senior exotic equity trader at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, as executive director and head of equity exotics trading for Europe. Mason was on holiday and could not be reached, but Sebastian Howell, spokesman for Morgan Stanley in London, confirmed the hire. Mason, who reports in to Stephanino Isele, head of equity derivatives for Europe, replaces Arunesh Hari who moved to New York in a similar role earlier this year. Howell declined further comment on the reshuffle.
Amy Thompson, spokeswoman for CSFB in London, confirmed Mason's departure and said he has been replaced internally by Gabriel Leung, declining further comment on Leung's previous role.
