David Bizer, co-head of European equity sales at Lehman Brothers in London, is transferring to New York in December. Bizer has been named head of U.S. equity product sales, a new role for Lehman, which will include responsibility for prime brokerage, equity finance, convertibles and program trading, among other areas. A message left for Bizer was returned by Caroline Villiers, spokeswoman for Lehman, who confirmed the move and said Mark Rutherford, co-head with Bizer, will now take sole responsibility for the European business. The reason behind the creation of the new role could not be determined.
