Deutsche Bank has bolstered its Asian equity derivatives business with a senior transfer: Colin Fan, global head of convertibles trading and co-head of structured credit trading in New York, has landed in Hong Kong as head of Asian equities.

Michael West, spokesman for Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong, said Fan is now responsible for cash, derivatives and program trading and prime services for the region, declining further comment. Fan replaces Ed Peter, who moved earlier this year to Deutsche Asset Management to build up the manager's structured products capability in the region (DW, 8/5).

Additionally, market officials close to the firm said Ricardo Honegger, head of global equity derivatives in Hong Kong, is planning to transfer to Dubai, for a new role that is still being finalized. Honeggar did not return messages. In a previous round of reshuffling in 2002, Honegger relocated to Hong Kong from London where he was European head of flow derivatives trading (DW, 12/9/02).
