The Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Shelley Sheng, v.p. in fixed income derivatives marketing at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong, in a new role responsible for Taiwan coverage.

The Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Shelley Sheng, v.p. in fixed income derivatives marketing at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong, in a new role responsible for Taiwan coverage. Sheng reports to Tom Picard, Asia-Pacific head of sales and marketing at RBS in Tokyo. Picard was traveling and could not be reached. Sheng could not be reached.

Sally Yao, who previously worked at Credit Suisse First Boston before taking time off from the industry, is understood to be joining Lehman in Singapore shortly to replace Sheng. Kirk Sweeney, head of Asia ex-Japan fixed income sales at Lehman in Hong Kong, and Jonathan Wharton, spokesman, did not return messages by press time.
