Calyon has tapped Winston Quek, head of financial market sales for Southeast Asia at Royal Bank of Scotland in Singapore. Marie Dangles, spokeswoman in Hong Kong, confirmed he joined last week as local capital markets manager for the Singapore branch.
Quek is responsible for both sales and trading and replaces Jacque-Alban Callies who left earlier this year. He reports to Gilles Fratacci, senior country officer in the Lion City. Quek did not return calls and Anthony Yuen, managing director and regional head at RBS in Hong Kong, was traveling and could not be reached.
