Deutsche Bank has hired two director-level equity derivative traders for the Asian markets to boost its regional capabilities. Utz Oberhansberg, equity derivatives trader at Lehman Brothers in London, and Craig James, trader at SAC Capital Management in New York, have joined in new roles as directors in the equity derivatives group in Hong Kong, for flow derivatives trading, according to Chiehmi Chan, managing director and Asia ex-Japan head of equity derivatives trading in Hong Kong. Chan declined further comment.
Oberhansberg left Lehman in July and was replaced by Malcolm Ritchie (DW, 8/5.) Messages left at SAC Capital were not returned.
