ABN AMRO recently recruited two marketers for its private investor products group in Hong Kong to expand its product and market coverage for the region. Jason Lee, equity derivatives marketer at Macquarie Bank in Hong Kong, has joined as a director with responsibility for exotic equity business in Asia, while S.K. Hong, marketer at Good Morning Shinhan Securities in Seoul, has joined as a director and marketer for Korea, overseeing both fixed income and equity products. The two report to Sven Haefner, global head of sales for the private investor products group in London, according to Hui Yuk Min, spokeswoman at ABN in Hong Kong.
At Macquarie, Lee reported to Tim Connolly, head of Asian derivative sales in the equity markets group in Hong Kong. Officials at the firm said the position has been filled internally. Officials in the capital markets group at Good Morning in Seoul declined comment.
