ABN AMRO has hired Phoebus Theologites, managing director and global head of structuring at TD Securities in London. One market official close to the Dutch firm said he is likely to take a similar role, but officials at ABN could not be reached for comment and Piers Townsend, spokesman for the firm, did not comment by press time.
Theologites, who was on gardening leave and could not be reached, left TD this summer, after the firm closed its exotic derivatives businesses in London (DW, 4/29).
