Alex Haidas, head of retail structuring and marketing covering credit and rates at JPMorgan in London, has jumped to buy-side firm North Asset Management. Haidas, reached on his cell, said he will run the group's collateralized debt obligations business, including management of cash and synthetic portfolios. North Asset Management was set up in London by former Morgan Stanley staffers in 2002 and runs more than USD1billion in assets, including two hedge funds. Officials at the manager declined comment.
At JPMorgan, Haidas was a senior v.p., reporting to Marc Badrichani and Ian Wilson, co-heads of marketing for northern Europe, who declined comment. Sarah Oppler, spokeswoman, did not comment on a replacement for Haidas by press time.
