Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has hired Mark Wells, head of advanced equity product at TD Securities in London. He is set to join Dresdner's alternative investments group as a managing director reporting to Andrew MacCormack, global head of alternative investments. Louise Beeson, spokeswoman for Dresdner, confirmed the hire, noting Wells will come on board Jan. 23.
Wells, who declined comment when reached on his cell phone, was responsible for TD's exotic equity business in London. He left after the firm closed down its exotic credit and equity books outside of Canada (DW, 4/29).
