Chris Ricciardi, the global head of structured credit products at Merrill Lynch, has left the firm. He is reportedly taking a position at Cohen Bros., a Philadelphia boutique investment bank. His new role could not be immediately determined. Calls to Ricciardi's cell were not returned and Terez Hanhan, Merrill spokeswoman, also did not return messages.
