ABN AMRO has picked up David Sarkis, a former senior equity derivatives trader at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong, in a new role as head of volatility trading for Asia, according to Hui Yuk Min, spokeswoman. Sarkis will assume the volatility trading books from Matthew Wong who was recently appointed head of the private investor products group in Hong Kong (DW, 2/6). Sarkis, who left Deutsche Bank last summer and will be starting in the next few weeks (DW, 7/22), could not be reached.
