Cedric Veylon, an equity derivatives trader at SG Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris, has left the firm. Veylon is well regarded in the market and is tipped to resurface at another firm, but he was on gardening leave and could not be reached for comment. Michelle Gathercole, spokeswoman for SG in London, did not return a message.
