The Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Sandra Wong, a collateralized debt obligation structurer and deal manager at Citigroup in London, as European head of managed CDOs. Market buzz is she has taken a crew of Citi colleagues to RBS with her, but this could not be verified. Murray Parker, spokesman at RBS, said Wong reports to Vincent Dahinden, head of structured products and the equity products group. He declined comment on any other hires. Wong did not return messages left for her at RBS.
Wong joined Citi in 2003 (DW, 9/8) from JPMorgan and was a director reporting to Tim Beaulac, managing director and co-head of European CDOs, who did not respond to messages.
