GFI Group has hired Julien Sida, formerly of dealer-broker MIS, as a credit derivatives broker in London reporting to Julian Swain, head of credit. Steve McMillan, GFI chief executive, said the hire is part of a continual expansion in line with the growth of the market. He noted in two years the number of U.K.-based credit derivative brokers at GFI has more than tripled. The group is also planning to relocate a number of Asian-based brokers to London.
