BNP Paribas' Shazhad Malik, senior credit structurer for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore, has left, according to firm officials. Reasons surrounding his departure could not be determined and Malik could not be reached. Prior to joining BNP, where he focused primarily on CDOs, Malik was a v.p. at JPMorgan (DW, 8/27/04). Cedric Podevin, Asia-Pacific head of credit structuring at BNP in Hong Kong, did not respond to messages by press time.
