Matthew Kerfoot and Phil Chan, v.p.s in fund-linked structuring at Credit Suisse in New York, have left the firm. As reported on DW's Web site, Kerfoot will join HSBC in a similar role, and Chan is thought to be heading to Swiss Re.

Kerfoot, on gardening leave, is expected to report to Lisa Roitman, senior v.p. in global structured funds at HSBC. Roitman referred comments to Juanita Gutierrez, HSBC spokeswoman, who did not immediately return phone messages, and Kerfoot declined comment when reached on his cell phone.

Chan could not be reached, and Mary Claire Delaney, Credit Suisse spokeswoman, and Alayna Tagariello, Swiss Re spokeswoman, did not immediately return messages.
