Calyon has hiredCiro Ferraz, an associate collateralized debt obligation structurer at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, in a similar role. He reports to Ally Chow, head of structured credit product management and syndicate. Rowan Staines, spokeswoman at Dresdner, declined comment.
Calyon is also understood to have hired Paul Byers, responsible for sales to Germany at UBS, in a new role as managing director and head of structured credit sales to Europe and the Middle East. Byers was on gardening leave and could not be reached. He will likely report in to Loic Fery, managing director of capital markets and global head of structured credit and CDOs, who was on holiday and could not be reached. Virginie Ourceyre, spokeswoman at Calyon, declined comment.
Calls to UBS' credit sales desk were referred to Frank Seitz, spokesman in Frankfurt, said Uta Sieber and Tarek Selim have replaced Byers, declining further comment.
