Barclays Capital has hired Wu Yue, head of fx sales for Asia at Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong, for a senior role on its fx sales desk, according to firm officials. Wu, who recently relocated from Tokyo to Hong Kong to set up a regional fx sales desk for Merrill (DW, 1/27), will be starting in the next few weeks. He could not be reached and replacement details at Merrill could not be determined.
