BNP Paribas has hired David Arnold, head of the institutional client group at Deutsche Bank in Singapore, in a new role. He joins as head of the institutional client group for Asia in Hong Kong, according to firm officials. Eric Nicholas, Asia-Pacific head of fixed income in Hong Kong, to whom Arnold now reports locally, did not return calls by press time.
At Deutsche Bank, Arnold's responsibilities will be assumed by Shen Yan, head of the institutional client group in Hong Kong, who starts in the next few weeks from Credit Suisse (DW, 5/19), said officials close to the firm.
