Joachim Willnow, managing director and head of international equity derivatives at Nomura in London, has left the firm. Willnow, who was responsible for Nomura's fledgling European structured investments business, has been replaced by Mike Fullalove, a managing director responsible for product development and fund derivatives. Fullalove now works with Marco Mocquard, managing director and co-head of international equity derivatives, who oversees equity trading at the firm. Willnow, Fullalove and Mocquard joined Nomura with a team of more than 10 others from Merrill Lynch two years ago (DW, 7/4/04).
Reasons for the departure could not be determined by press time and Willnow could not be reached. Nomura officials referred calls to spokeswoman Clare Williams, who did not respond to messages.
