Wolfgang Schubert, a director responsible for structuring collateralized loan obligations at Merrill Lynch in New York, has resigned. He is reportedly joining Silver Point Capital in Greenwich, Conn., but that could not be confirmed.
Schubert, Harin de Silva and Ken Margolis, co-heads of collateralized debt obligations at Merrill in New York, did not return phone calls and Kristin Celauro, spokeswoman, declined comment. Calls to Silver Point were referred to external communications firm Kekst and Company, where Scott Hynes declined comment.
