HSBC in New York has hired Jason Henderson, managing director and head of foreign exchange options trading, from RBC Capital Markets in London, where he was global head of fx derivatives trading. Henderson started at HSBC June 19, replacing Don Lee, who left the firm earlier this year (DW, 3/10).
Juanita Gutierrez, HSBC spokeswoman, said Henderson reports to Frederic Boillereau, global head of fx options in London, and Benjamin Welsh, deputy head of global markets in North America, head of U.S. rates and head of fx Americas. Henderson was unavailable for comment and Kevin Foster, RBC spokesman, did not immediately return phone calls.
