Singapore banking giant DBS is reeling in a team of three marketers from UBS as part of an fx build up. "This is a push into institutional flows," said Poo Huat Tan, managing director in the Lion City, who was head of fx sales for Southeast Asia at UBS. He will shortly be joined by marketers Nancy Lee and Emmie Ong, giving DBS a dedicated team covering structured fx products for institutional clients. Tan said additional hires will be in place by year-end, declining to elaborate.
