Kiran Mandrekar has flipped to Wachovia Securities from RBS Greenwich and joined as a v.p. and synthetic collateralized debt obligation structurer and marketer. He started last week and reports to Brian Zwerner, head of the synthetic CDO business. The hire is part of the CDO group's overall expansion as its business grows, said Yu-Ming Wang, global head of structured credit products. Mandrekar, who had similar responsibilities at RBS, he did not return a call by press time.
